PLC minutes 12/13
MAP scores are entered into data sheet, we have seen growth! We will discuss a plan of how to move forward when we return from winter break.
We discussed how to check rosters to see who has something in their backpack. Blue team is almost at 100%. Gold team will check again after Slinde finalizes the anti-smoking project, and Rahmlow has students complete their egg drop projects.
Next week's plans:
-Monday: Students will read, annotate, and summarize the article the final is on
-Tuesday: Multiple choice portion of the test and pre-writing for the essay portion
-Wednesday/Thursday: Essay portion of final
-Friday: Final makeups, makeup assignments, logic puzzle enrichment activity

PLC minutes 12/6
Discussed MAP testing Annie has 12 kids that did not finish Emerald has 15. All due to absences or suspensions.

- Blue team: Students will complete a critical reading of a passage from The Hate U Give to help prepare for the Final
- Gold team: Students will discuss the audience and purpose and write a rough draft of a persuasive letter to convince someone in their life to stop smoking
- Review of skills from the semester to prepare for the final
