• Look at current MAP data trends-Analyzed and discussed 9th grade reading scores
• Think about current classroom practice-Set goals based on current practices
• Discuss actions to improve literacy practice-Came up with a list of actions for the literacy plan
• Discuss your PGP and actions to support your PGP growth- and how this can fit into the Literacy Plan Literacy Plan

9/21 PLC minutes

Today we planned for next week. We discussed students current ability and knowledge of theme. Our lesson on Friday will be a pre-assessment to get a read on student's essay writing ability before we have students write a literary analysis essay about the whole book.

Planned for the week of 9/17 discussed student strengths and weaknesses in regards to figurative and literal language.

-Annie and Emerald added new map scores to Freshman data spreadsheet
-Annie and Emerald logged into achieve, and added rosters to JCPS backpack
-Planned for the week of 9/10 and discussed what to include in library lesson
